II.1.4) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): To provide
temporary utilities supplies to all temporary accommodation during the
construction phase of the Olympic Park project. The deliverables of this
work package will be in accordance with the ODA scheme designs and ODA
protocol will include the following: temporary electrical power, temporary
potable water, temporary non-potable water, temporary foul and waste water
discharge. Developing these to a detailed design and build stage that will
integrate into the permanent works wherever feasibly and commercially
viable to do so, whilst integrating and coordinating with the requirements
of the design scheme for temporary data/comms backbone and the
requirements of Overlay, games and legacy. Complete the detailed design,
install, modify to suit the various demands throughout the construction
phases, integrate and coordinate with all construction projects, operate,
maintain the system and then remove any parts of the system that are not
incorporated into the permanent infrastructure.
