SECTION II: OBJECT OF THE CONTRACT
II.1) DESCRIPTION
II.1.1) Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority:
National road 80 Røvik-Strømsnes, Road package Salten stage I.
II.1.2) Type of contract and location of works, place of delivery or of
performance: Works.
Realisation, by whatever means of work, corresponding to the requirements
specified by the contracting authorities.
Main site or location of works: National road 80 Røvik- Strømsnes, Norway.
II.1.3) The notice involves: A public contract.
II.1.5) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): The project
National road 80 Røvik- Strømsnes involves construction of a new National
road 80 from Røvik to Strømsnes in Fauske municipality. The road shall
replace the existing road located in the same stretch as well as
connections and adaptations to the remaining road network. The project
shall partly be financed with road toll and the project also includes the
construction of a toll-road station.
The project will result in a shortening of 6, 2 km length between Fauske
and Bodø. The length of National road 80 from Strømsnes (Halsbakken) to
Røvik is approx. 6 000 m – from approx. road profile 3 500 (Halsbakken) to
approx. road profile 9 500 (Røvik), of which approx. 4 000 m road is in
open air and approx. 2 000 m is in tunnel.
Three bridges with a length of 40 to 100 m shall be constructed, as well
as three culverts, sheet pile curtains, retaining walls, noise-deflection
walls and two technical buildings.
The length of the reconstruction works of the existing County road 530 at
Strømsnes is approx. 310 m. The length of the new access road in
Halsbakken, which will be a extension of the existing County road 80, is
approx. 350 m. Connection road with a length of 140 m between the new
National road 80 and County road 530 to a roundabout in the junction point
at Strømsnes and connection between the new and old National road in
Rørvik with a length of approx. 100 m.
New access road to Valnesfjord train stop with a length of approx. 200 m.
Pedestrian/bicycle path/ sidewalks along National road 530 and access to
bus stop, etc. with a length of approx 920 m. Moreover, agricultural roads
class 7 with a length of approx. 3 240 m shall also be constructed.
The new National road 80 shall be constructed in accordance with standard
class H1 with a road width of 10 m, lane with a width of 8 m including a
centre lane with a width of 1 m. The road has designed speed of 80 km/h
and tunnel profile T10, 5.
