statutory remit and the relationship with other statutory agencies. It
should assess the performance of Galway City Council and make
recommendations as necessary.

SECTION VI: COMPLEMENTARY INFORMATION
VI.2) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: It is a condition for the award of this
contract that the candidate selected and all proposed sub-consultants must
be able to produce a valid Tax Clearance Certificate or C2 certificate. In
the case of a non-resident candidate, they should produce a statement from
the Revenue Commissioners that they have satisfied them as to their
suitability on tax grounds to be awarded the contract. The firm to whom
the contract is awarded and all sub-consultants shall continue to hold
valid certificates for the duration of the contract.
The contracting authority undertakes to use its best endeavours to hold
confidential any information provided in the proposal submitted, subject
to he contracting authority's obligations under law, including the Freedom
of Information Act, 1997. If the applicant consider that any of the
information submitted in the proposal should not be disclosed because of
its sensitivity, then this should be stated with the reason for
considering it sensitive. The contracting authority will then consult with
the applicant in considering any request received under the Freedom of
Information Act, 1997 before replying to such a request.
