AKAM, an agency of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) was established in 2004. AKAM provides financial services to the world’s poorest households with a broad range of products, including agricultural loans, education loans, savings, microinsurance, housing finance, and loans for micro and small enterprises. AKAM is operating in over 13 countries through a network of four Microfinance banks and ten Microfinance Institutions.
