MULTI - Inter Aide
   The bidder must meet all the administrative and technical conformity criteria, agree to the terms and
conditions below and provide all relevant documentation.
2. Price quotations must be in MWK and include all taxes, customs charges and transport to the place of
destination and any other related expenses.
3. The payment will be made in phases as follows (please refer to Annex 1 for the elements), with a
request for payment in additional of the invoice:
- 10% of the total amount after signature of the contract
- 20% at the beginning of the work
- 40% when the elements 1,2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 are completed
- 20% when the elements 7 & 8 are completed
- 10% of the contract amount after final acceptance. This amount will be paid 6 months after the
provisional acceptance (the handover of the project to IA by the Contractor). The contractor
will be obliged to fix any problem that may arise within the 6 months without charging any
additional cost to Inter Aide.
4. The bid must remain valid for a period of 60 days from the bid closing date unless withdrawn in writing
before the closing date.
5. There must be no outstanding or prior disputes from prior transactions between IA and the bidder.
6. The procurement Committee has the right to accept or reject any bid, and their decision shall be final.
7. The selected contractor will be contacted by IA within 10 working days after the bid opening date by
the procurement committee to sign the contract.
8. A physical site visit may be organized by IA representative if deemed necessary.
9. The contractor must be ready to start the work immediately after signing of the contract according to
the agreed upon schedule.
